The Sun/Mars first quarter square is about meeting our own emotional needs within relationships and finding home and security within ourselves rather than trying to find that within other people. The Venus/Uranus opposition also reflecting that core development by asking us to find the inner security to enter into insecurity and vulnerability with others. With Uranus in the mix we could always expect some kind of upset, the tower energy that frees us from attachments no longer serving us. It could feel like desperate need to be loved, accepted and taken care of but that’s pointing to our relationship projections. All while the moon is in Pisces, thankfully with the conjunction to Saturn we can emotionally integrate today’s situations in a more realistic and mature way while still holding space for love and empathy.

Starting the day with Pisces Moon and Mars separating FQ square with Sun and semi-sextile with Jupiter in Gemini, so we’re exploring this emotional self-sufficiency and self-regulation in perhaps overwhelming circumstances, maybe still dealing with that discouragement of wanting to be loved and taken care of or maybe you’ve fallen a little more in love with yourself through the process, recognizing and normalizing human emotional needs and caring for yourself enough to acknowledge them and begin to meet them. Nice energy switch with the Moon moving into Aries, fitting for a Mars day and helping us have the courage to participate with life and also, referring back to Mars in Cancer, take care of our own emotional needs. Again relationships are highlighted as the Sun is in Libra, with both Mercury and Venus being in Scorpio during the lunation that’s emphasizing both fears of vulnerability/betrayal/abandonment and the need to think and talk about those uncomfortable topics for our relationships to grow and evolve. The Moon in Aries, ruled by and squaring Mars in Cancer, we need to employ courage and the inner security to speak up for ourselves and our relationships desires and needs. On this Venus day she has just entered Sag and is separating from a sextile while still in the last quarter phase with Pluto. Venus in Sagittarius has us feeling the connection to our personal truth and our personal growth. We’re feeling into how our values affect our core sense of meaning and purpose. We’re feeling more philosophic, searching for the deeper meaning behind the events transpiring in our lives. We could also be feeling more optimistic, focusing on solutions rather than the problems themselves. We’re valuing sincerity and honesty in our relationships. Venus in sag can also have us feeling like our truth and our beliefs are the only correct ones and we’re trying to convince and convert others to our points of view. There could be a tendency to gaslight others or make them feel inferior as a way of overcompensating for our own fear of being wrong. The Sun is in a disseminating square to Pluto in Aquarius which brings in this restlessness of knowing that change needs to happen but we’re not sure what to do or how to do it yet, and because the Sun is in Libra the change is occurring around and within our relationships, liberating from our known attachments to ways of being within relationships. From Pluto in Aquarius it’s asking us to liberate from our conditionings, the ways we’ve become accustomed to relate to others and ourselves. The moon being in Gemini is aiding in the restless energy, we’re more curious about our emotional reality, maybe we have some productive conversations about what changes we could make in the areas of our lives where we feel stuck in unproductive patterns. If the mental energy is too much today, there’s a lack of earth astrologically right now so getting outside and getting your hands and feet on the earth can help settle the restless energy.
