The Sun/Saturn trine with the Sag Moon today could feel like calm and hope after the emotional storms of the weekend. We’re more aware of the point and purpose, more aware of the path and where we are heading, or maybe we’re just feeling more in flow. On the flip side these combined transits could have us feeling tethered to the reality of our emotional tides; stuck, overwhelmed and confused or pharisaic in our understanding. Specifically to the Sun/Saturn trine, there’s a certain about of maturity needed to be aware and conscious of our psychological limitations, the Sag Moon bringing in the self-honesty. Can you find acceptance for your human experience? For others too? Maybe it’s not that others are out to hurt and betray you, maybe they’re just struggling with their own issues too.

Tuesday 11/5 MARS DAY

Mars in Leo at 0*

Mars is gearing up for his retrograde cycle that begins officially early next month but he is already in his shadow period as the rx will have him moving from 6* Leo back to 17* of Cancer. That being said his movement is already slowing, which would correlate to our own momentum and movement slowing, the yang outward movement shifting to a yin internalized and introverted energy. We’ll come back to this at a later date but now let’s talk about Mars in Leo!

Mars in Leo wants to live life to the fullest, it’s very self-focused on its personal goals and desires. Considering that Mars is ruler of the North Node in Aries, his transit through Leo could help us flame the inner fire for personal creative independence that could help us recover from our South Node Libra attachments to being pleasing and acceptable. Also with Mars being in a full phase to Pluto in Cap and the Moon currently being in Cap perhaps today a little healthy narcissism can help us reclaim some power and give us the courage to participate with and take centre stage of our unfolding story.

Wednesday 11/6 MERCURY DAY

So with Mercury in Jupiter ruled Sagittarius and Jupiter in Mercury ruled Gemini we have a weird blend of our rational and intuitive functions, they’re currently in a gibbous phase with each other which means that there is a need to improve upon, adjust, and refine how we our mentally relating to and integrating our beliefs and our personal truths. So crisis could arise where we need to question ourselves and the narratives we’ve been holding onto, its can be humbling experience but ultimately brings us into greater self-knowledge and alignment. With Mercury in aspects to the nodes today I think we’ll get real time practice. In the crescent phase to the South Node we’re evolving our beliefs around our relationships specifically how we communicate and share our truths and with the disseminating trine to the North Node we’re entertaining the freedom of choice and being true to ourselves. Mercury in Sagittarius really wants truth and honesty but can be a gifted liar or the snake oil salesmen or televangelist trying to convert others to their truth. With the Moon in Cap today I think he could be fighting against some hard truths from others and from reality. Question the narriative, questions what you see and what your being told, questions your beliefs. When we can quiet that part of our brain that’s trying to name and make sense of everything then we leave space for our intuition to arise.

The mood continues from yesterday, question everything. As Jupiter is retrograde, its function is to eliminate accumulated belief structures and outdated truths to come into a more liberated and individualized beliefs/truths. We get a new view and new perspective from whatever house he is transiting in our charts. With Jupiter rx in Gemini, a Mercury ruled sign, we could have difficulty learning, remembering, communicating cause there a focus on the intuitive right brain functions. So we have to take things slower to feel out where the adjustments are needed and what needs to be redefined.

While Venus has been trusting through Sagittarius, we’ve been working on our relationship to our personal truths, beliefs, philosophies, how we understand the cosmology of the universe. You can see how that’s played out this week, the polarizing and righteous views condSaturemning others who don’t agree and trying to convert constantly. With Venus in the disseminating phase of the last quarter to Neptune today in that last quarter square we could become full of empathy and understanding for all human experiences and finding the maturity to appreciate and value all truths and all perspectives. It could easily also having us doing a whole bunch of nothing, staying stuck in our subjective values and truths and continuing to gaslight others and fall into the trap of continuing to fight against your fellow countryman rather than seeing who the true foe is, the government. Anyway, it’s always our choice how we respond to life. Today we could stay in current of grief and divide or we could try and find deeper truth and understanding.

With Saturn in Pisces we are maturing our relationship to the infinate, we’re coming into a self-authority of our reality as well as becoming more realistic about our dreams, ideals and expectations. With the Venus/Neptune square we need to mature our relationship to the truth, being honest with ourselves with what we believe in but inherent to the last quarter square there is a need to throw off past conditioning, to approach it in a new way. One way this could play out would be limiting social media, even if it’s a habit we know what it’s a large conditioning factor trying to you influence the way we think so maybe we try and do without it or consume it in a more limited form or try to discern the information rather than swallow it whole. The Moon is in Aquarius which helps us objectify what is being presented to us as well as aiding our desire for rebelling against consensus reality. Keep asking questions, keep searching for your truth.

Taking this election week into consideration with the Sun/Jupiter inconjunct, trying to make sense of other peoples thoughts and beliefs can bring up some gunk within our own consciousness. The Moon in Pisces with Sun in Scorpio it’s easier to take on the struggles and emotions of others. Remember not to dehumanize each other and move forward with empathy, you don’t know what conditioning others have experienced. Don’t focus on the toothpick in someone else’s eye when you have a log in yours, that’s how the Bible verse goes right!? Staying curious about the “why’s” and “how’s” rather than passing judgement.
