This Moon in Aries day is ruled by Mars rx in Leo. With an Aries Moon we could be quick to emotional reactions, especially when things aren’t going our way or we’re not getting the attention we deserve, ect. The emotional fire is real, try not to burn yourself or anyone else. Lots of Air and Fire energy, do breathing and grounding exercises for self care.
Tuesday 12/10 MARS DAY

First Mars day while Mars in retrograde! Mars will retrograde all the way back to 17* Cancer (February 23rd, 2025) and won’t reach his current degree of 6* Leo until May 2nd, 2025; so we’re all in this together for the next 5 months. Mars goes rx about every two years and it’s a dichotomy really because the natural energy is Mars is instinctual and outward driven and while Mars is rx the energy changes to introverted and internalized. So with the Mars impulse retrograde, we’re more conscious of the nature of our desires and the intent of our action which is disruptive of Mars’ natural flow. The objective of Mars rx is to only manifest experiences that are essential to the evolutionary intention of our souls, it’s honing in on the true desires and intent focusing on the the cause and the why, it’s eliminating anything obstructing our souls path, it’s a cosmic realignment and it can be incredibly frustrating. It’s a soul renewal. Mars in Leo, specifically, wants to take charge of and be in control of ones life and destiny, it desires to actualize its special purpose. It wants validation, praise and recognition, it wants to be seen and loved. While in rx, we’re looking inward at the intent of these desires. As Mars is current ruler of North Node, this seems an important time in our algorithms for deeper self-understanding. Mars and Venus are also approaching an opposition, currently in a gibbous adjustment phase. Their conjunction last year coincided with conjunctions to Pluto in Aquarius, which Venus just renewed with. It’s a humbling reminder that it’s not just us, we’re all in this together and our stories are all connected. There’s been so much change and realizations, we’re getting to know ourselves on a deeper more individualized level. All this is being reinforced by Venus’ contact to the nodes and the Sun/Chiron trine is showing us the pain of the process or highlighting the wounds we’re working through. So today could be painful and frustrating but the only way out is to keep plugging along this uncharted terrain.

Mercury, and maybe our brains too, is moving very slowly as they are about to station direct this Sunday. Still in an exhausting opposition to Jupiter in Gemini, we have no map and we’re learning as we go. Moon in Taurus adds to the slow down and brings in the much needed grounding energy. Mindfulness and sensual pleasures can bring us out of our thoughts and back into our bodies.

Thursday 12/12 JUPITER DAY

Venus in Aquarius opposing Mars in Leo
Moon in Taurus sextile Saturn in Pisces
Today starts with a Venus/Mars full phase opposition, real time practice for us to balance our personal needs and desires within the context of others but also within our relationship to ourself it’s about liberating ourselves from the need and desire for the validation and recognition from others and really our known ways of participating in relationship. We’re learning to love ourselves in a more free way so that we can live our lives without depending so much on acceptance and approval from others. It being a Jupiter Day with Jupiter rx in Gemini, we’re growing and evolving our concepts and beliefs about ourselves, re-mapping our realities. Moon in Taurus we want physical and emotional safety and comfort but the Venus/Mars opposition is asking us to do something uncomfortable, participate in our relationships in a new way. Jupiter in Gemini is can allow us to adapt our truth to whatever situation, duplicity is tempting but let us be indigestibly true to ourselves no matter what today.

Venus is still in a full phase with Mars and in a new phase with Pluto, adding in this Mercury/Jupiter opposition we may find ourselves in familiar situations but we’re meeting them in a new way, we’re on this journey of liberation, searching for the truth of ourselves. Venus in Aquarius is rebelling against and liberating itself from known ways of being in relationship with itself and others. Venus is Aquarius feels different like we don’t belong, we can’t fit in with the consensus of society, we aren’t what’s expected of us. Because Venus and Mercury always stay close to each other and the sun their phases relationship isn’t that important but still we’re more conscious of our thoughts today and how they resonate in our body and once the Moon enters Gemini, our thoughts get louder as we’re trying to emotionally integrate life through our mental body. With both Mercury, Jupiter and Mars all in retrograde right now we’re more conscious of the how’s and why’s of our thoughts, actions and beliefs. Saturn in Pisces, lost in our delusional expectations or are we working at co-creating our dreams? We have to be realistic about where we are and have the patience and determination to get where we want to be.
