On this Moon day we have a Capricorn Moon in balsamic phase to the sun as we have a new moon Wednesday morning. If the moon is how we emotionally integrate our realities then on Cap Moon days we could feel the weight of our corporeal forms and the bounds and limitations thereof, we could feel extra pressure to be responsible and maybe that comes with suppressing/repressing emotions because we don’t have the time/energy to deal with them. Mercury changing signs this eve will bring a energy change, i’ll speak more about that in the coming days, but maybe tonight we go to sleep with a bit less worry or maybe our stress changes form. Mars in Cancer is ruled by this Cap Moon, so check in with yourself and your body through out the day, let the emotions flow rather than trying to stop the leak.

With the Aquarius stellium on this Mars day it could be easier to detach from the immediacy of our emotional needs and desires to gain an objective view and maybe see them in a new light and act in a different way. If we can find ourselves in a kind of observer mode that can allow us to gain freedom from our instinctual reactions for a more thoughtful and mature response. Or maybe we find ourselves in an uncomfortable position and we try to practice some emotional self-regulation and self-comfort. The key with this Cancer Mars is to realize when we’re acting emotionally childish and immature and formulate a new response, that takes lots of practice! There is also a Pisces stellium so it’s easy to get stuck in our ideals and expectations that usually get met with disappointment and disillusionment, again a Mars in Cancer practice to handle the let down. Be gentle with yourself, this is hard work.

We start today with the Mercury/Pluto conjunction followed by the New Moon at 9* of Aquarius in a close trine to Jupiter. So with a New Moon we have new phase energy, something new is starting and in Aquarius it has to do with liberating from the known, embracing the freedom of our inner unique self, our communities/like minded crew and with this tight trine to Jupiter it’s adding the layer of truth and authenticity. Mercury conjunct Pluto in Aquarius is also a new phase energy, we’re in a new process of evolving our mercurial functions, curating a more detached observer mind that can utilize the logic and rise above the subjective and immersive drama, liberating our mind processes from the conditioning, thinking for ourselves rather than blindly adhering to what we’re told. As it is a Mercury Day, and Mercury is extra special now as they are ruler of the transiting South Node in Virgo, as we’re striving for self-improvement maybe today we can think outside the box for a new perspective. The energy today could be very uneasy and ungrounding, easily triggered which is part of the process for us to see these areas of our lives that need attention. It’s very much a time of love and forgiveness and also disillusionment and disappointment, in the Balsamic it’s a surrendering to the flow and letting things dissolve. Things are losing meaning and value, we’re feeling the reality check of our expectations and ideals, we’re facing where we’ve put ultimate meaning into fundamentally meaningless temporal things. Going back to Venus being in a new phase to Saturn on this Saturns day, we’ve been dealing with the reality check for a couple weeks now. We’re reorienting where we’re aiming our responsibility, realizing it’s up to ourselves to do the work, that we have to save ourselves.

Venus/Neptune conjunction today, disillusionment and disappointment are signs showing us where we’re out of alignment, where we’re lacking deeper and higher meaning.
