We still have a stellium of planets in Taurus with Venus and Jupiter are at the Last degrees, so theres an emphasis on survival, what we need to survive but also what makes life worth living. Our thoughts are based around security and comfort which is polarized by the Scorpio moon which could have heightened insecurities and manipulate it’s way to safety.  Then the Gemini Sun trine Aquarius Pluto has us gathering information and thinking about our desire for liberation, expanding our mind and our concepts of self.  So how can we securely be free? Ok so we have a lot happening today. We have the Sagittarius Full Moon, ruled by Jupiter who is in conjunction with Venus today and sextile Neptune. I spoke last week about the relationship between Taurus and Pisces and establishing a inner connection to source to evolve values into a more transcendent form. So this Venus Jupiter conjunction in Taurus can increase sensations and pleasure, just feeling good but it can also highlight insecurity and survival needs. Venus in Taurus wants to feel safe and comfortable and Jupiter is expanding and increasing that energy during this transit but if we’re in a place of survival currently then this transit is going to increase that. With the sextile to Neptune in Pisces we can have a inner reorientation to give it to god and have unconditional love for all humans and all our different struggles OR it can have us throwing out unrealistic expectations of others providing our safety and security.  This Sagittarius Full Moon is emphasizing the importance of truth and authenticity. If we can be honest with ourselves then we can take back these projections on others. Today we can be honest about our needs, we can tell the truth about what feels good and what doesn’t. We can also find higher meaning to our struggles, which very much goes hand in hand with being authentic and self accountable. If we look at everything as a learning and growing adventure we’re less likely to play victim to life.  Being authentic is accepting that maybe we are a disappointment to others if we’re not living up to their expectations and also we may be disappointed by others not living up to our expectations. Sagittarius is the archetype of truth but also dishonesty, how much time do we waste trying to convince others of our truths and our realities when the most productive conversation, or arguments, happen when we can objectively embrace all truths and realities. Can we have more empathy for the human struggle today and help each other out? Can we have more grace and empathy for ourselves while being honest with where we are at and where we are trying to go?

Friday 5/24 VENUS DAY

The evolutionary intent of Venus in Gemini is self knowledge and self awareness. Here we are curious about new experiences that will encourage our inner dialogue to ask questions so we can come to know ourselves better. We may orientate to venturing outside our comfort zone (leaving that Taurus space) to expand our values. This could be as simple as trying Thai food for the first time, and in which the experience will lead you to burning your mouth off in which you learn maybe you cant handle that spicy of food. Its trying new things, asking new questions, meeting new people, valuing that inner curiosity.

The sag moon today is emphasizing that Jupiter at the last degree of Taurus, so we can feel stuck in the muck of our known comfort zone or we can feel an expanse of navigating the unknown with a deep inner security and faith. Circling back to Venus in Gemini, making the decision to try new things so we can come more into our inner truth. The truth is I think Thai food is too hot, but I would never have known had I not tried it.

With Venus in a first quarter trine to Pluto we’re being called to explore liberating new ways of engaging in relationship with ourselves and others, curiously embracing ways beyond how we’ve been conditioned by our families or society. At this point we know we’re working to evolve our attachments and relationships and todays aspects are allowing us to do it in real time. It is Saturns day after all and the moon is in Capricorn, so we have a manifested form and structure to in which to work.

Jupiter moving into Gemini is expanding our curiosity. As Jupiter naturally rules Geminis polarity of Sagittarius, we are being given an opportunity to get out of our rigid sense of truth and be open to new perspectives and realities.  With this energy happening together with the Venus/Pluto trine it’s bringing in a ease of a change of mind. Not that changing our minds and perspectives is ever easy but today it could be while we are conscious of the energy at play.

Sun is separating from a trine with Pluto earlier this week but inherent within that first quarter phase is going through a kind of crisis in action as its navigating diverse possibilities, ideas and options, emphasized with the Air energy of Gemini and Aquarius. Thankfully both the rulers, Mercury and Uranus, are in taurus which can help stabilize and ground all the mental unrest. Adding in the Aspects from the Cap Moon I think its important to participate and make choices today that help actualize in this new direction we’re heading in while staying open and curious to other realities and stories playing out.
