There is a healthy narcissism inherent within the first quadrant where we are on a journey of self discovery so naturally there would be a more self orientation for self knowledge. So maybe today we take center stage in the play that is our lives. Sun in Gemini is ruling this Leo moon, so enjoy some self dialogue today. Be curious about yourself and your story. Whats changed? I talked last week about the energy of Mars in Taurus, the desire for self sufficiency and self reliance. As Mars is ruling the transiting North Node in Aries is pushing us to evolve our autonomy and independence and just in general shows how we actively participate in life. Mars and Pluto started a new phase in their conjunction in Aquarius on February 14th of this year. Within that we’re on a two year journey of evolving our desire and action nature into a more individuated and objective way, rebelling against our conditioning/refusing to conform to expectations/reorienting to a more self definition. Now that we’ve reached their first quarter square we are being asked, from Aquarius to taurus, to detach from the immediacy of getting our needs met and think more in terms on humanities needs. Within this square theres also insecurity of the unknown. Mars in Taurus desires stabilization, security and self-preservation, Pluto in Aquarius desires the freedom that comes from liberating ourselves from the conditioning. Aquarius is not concerned with itself, Taurus very much is. So in essence the square Is a difficult aspect because it requires integration of opposing desires. So there is an inherent crisis within this transit where we need to navigate and integrate conflicting desires. But we have the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter all in gemini which is helping us be curious about new ways of thinking and really existing, where we can redefine who we are and what we need.
The Venus in Gemini sextile to Chiron in Aries today is helping us out by allowing us to withdraw and internally ruminate about whats holding us back and establish an internal dialogue of personal meaning to the change that’s being asked of us.
The Leo moon today can have us maybe too orientated to our subjective emotional reality today but if we can objectively look at the theatrics of our existence we can come to more detached view of our growth process to allow for the process to unfold.

Mercury is smooched up right behind Venus and the Sun in Gemini today. As Venus has been in Gemini we have a definite feeling reaction to the nature of our thoughts. As Venus is in a semi-sextile with Uranus today, this is an annoying and irritating aspect that could have us very much feeling the anxiety and restlessness within our mind and body.
Once again we have another planet in Gemini being in a first quarter square with Saturn in Pisces. And once again we’re being asked to integrate conflicting energy. Saturn in Pisces is a transendental reality, its the ultimate nature and truth of existence and then Mercury in Gemini wants to expand definitions and give names to this phenomenal reality. Makes me think of Yod He Vau He, the Hebrew letters that transcribe the unpronounceable name of god. How can define the undefinable? How can we give a concrete name to the boundless entity?
The Virgo moon has help us discriminate today between what is and what isn’t and it can also help us what isn’t initially obvious, to grasp and comprehend the more mystical aspects of reality. Magic in the mundane kind of thing.
So we can enter today being open to a mystification or today can feel a bit scary. Virgo moon can have us straight up in denial and the Mercury Saturn square can manifest as mental distractions and escapism. Again, if we pay attention to the nature of our thoughts we can direct the energy to a more open and expansive direction, staying curious about the details.

Jupiter in Gemini is philosophical diversity, expansion of known concepts and definitions. On the other end of that energy it could be the televangelist trying to convert everyone else to their subjective truth.
With the Sun and Mercury in this crescent phase sextile with Chiron in Aries, an internalized and withdrawn energy so we can focus on our masculine wounding. Our fears around being alone, of speaking ip for ourselves, of not living up to others expectations, fears of misusing our energy, fear of hurting others, and fears around making decisions. With this happening on a Jupiter (In Gemini) day, maybe we can question the stories we’ve been telling ourselves, question what we’ve been taking as truth or what we’ve been told is the truth. Truth is relative. Let’s have a conversation today, let’s find some new perspectives.

Venus leaves Gemini for Cancer next monday, so today is the last Venus day in Gemini for the year. We also have a Mercury Sun conjunction in Gemini today that is also semi-sextile Uranus in Taurus.
So we have a mental focus today, with Venus in Gemini there is a high correlation between our thoughts and how they manifest as a feeling sensation in the body. The Sun and Mercury aspect today is bringing conscious awareness to the nature of our thoughts, Venus adding in the feeling. The Uranus semi-sextile can bring in anxiety and restlessness. There is always a call for change as we are all here to evolve. Venus rules the South Node in Libra, representing our relationship attachments to ourselves and others.
So today could be an opportunity to be curious to investigate and redefine said attachments. For example, say you have a set source for gathering your daily news but you’ve noticed that its been having an adverse affect on your mental health. Maybe you come to describe it today as fear porn so you decide to get a new source that doesn’t leave you feeling helpless and scared. Could be big or little realizations about how we can shift our self dialogue. Maybe the names we’ve given things are sufficient anymore.

Saturn goes rx at the end of June and is lingering at the 19* mark for a while. Saturn in Pisces is an interesting placement and therefore marking an interesting point in time currently. It could simply be put that we are maturing our relationship to source and curating a new form and structure for god. But as most people are not in a spiritual evolutionary state this would be harder to digest. For most it could feel like a sacrifice of control and self-authority, fear of losing control more likely and even a generalized sense of guilt and needing to mature escapist tendancys. Below it all is a yearning to experience unity. Each of us will experience the nuances in a different form.
Mars is still inconjunct Jupiter in Gemini, surrendering the safety and security of what is known to be open to new possibilies of all that is.
Sun, Mercury and Venus all in the last 5* of Gemini, maybe we surender our known concepts of god and source today. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, Venus is conditional love and Neptune unconditional love. Moon in Libra today has us emotionally orientated toward being heard and accepted by others. And heck it’s father’s day, maybe we go in today with expectations and end up disillusioned. Maybe we needed that to happen. This Venus Neptune square is happening at the culmination 29th degree of Gemini and Pisces. Could be a redefinition of relationship expectations days, and that could come about through just a good ol conversation or maybe we have to enter that place of disillusionment first. Maybe we come into more empathy for the human experience today. Maybe our thoughts and feeling are overwhelming today we take the escapist route. Stay curious, have a conversation with yourself or others, write it out. Also with this Venus Neptune square on a Sun Day we have a beautiful opportunity to create, today we could have inspired words and feelings that need to be transcribed. Maybe life is more livable when we romanticize it.
