Libra Full Moon Lunar Eclipse

LIBRA LUNAR ECLIPSE

We are starting eclipse season this spring with a Lunar Eclipse in Libra on March 25th, the second being a Solar Eclipse April 8 in Aries.  This eclipse axis started last year with solar eclipses April 20th and October 14th.  Lunar eclipses are full moons and Solar eclipses are new moon and they happen when the nodes are within 10*. The transiting nodes of the moon, as they work with Pluto and their ruling planets, act as portals and integration points of our evolution and realignment.

So as the south node is now transiting through Libra we are reliving and or releasing attachments and patterns relating to needing to be loved and approved of, codependency, needing to be heard/not listening, people pleasing, all that libra stuff.  With the south node representing the actual issue the south node ruler, Venus in this case, represents apparent issue.  Now, as Venus in transiting through Pisces, we are looking at apparent issues of relationship ideals and expectations that may be unrealistic and sacrificing/martyring ourselves for others. Theres so much disillusionment within the pisces archetypes when we hold attachments to expectations and fantasies and dreams and we need to remember we’re all just doing the best we can within this human experience.

Mars, ruler of transiting north node, is also in Pisces.  The north node represents the energy we are trying to bring in to balance the attachments to the south node. The North Node is our souls trajectory for growth and evolution.  North node in Aries is asking us to have the courage to stand up for ourselves, become more independent and confident. Jeff Wolf Green says that the evolutionary intent of Mars in pisces is to bring a cycle to culmination by acting on remaining desires that have been unconscious.  I think one way we can apply that is to pay attention to dream and synchronicities and have the courage to following inspiration, make our dreams a reality.

With this full moon Lunar eclipse we can expect situations to illuminate where we’ve been attached to ideals and expectations in relationships to ourselves and others. Look for ways to be true to you, have the courage and bravery to make dreams a reality!  Of course, looking at your chart and seeing what houses Aries/libra fall in can help you see exactly where this evolutionary energy is transpiring in your personal life.
