Mercury sextile Juno also helps by giving us a mental focus of feeling the importance of being dedicated and committed to improving our relationship to ourself and improving our self-image. Maybe today we can just step back and detach a bit to good a more birds eye view of our experiences and our current story lines.

Mars in Taurus ruled by Venus in Cancer we could be feeling more introspective and withdrawn, a natural yin phase where we’re being guided to come home to ourselves and find some inner stabilization. So today would be well spent making the decision to take care of ourselves, eat healthy nourishing foods, clean and water ourselves. Moon in still in Aquarius so we still have this objectivity available to us and with all this Cancer stuff I think its also giving us a chance to emotionally self regulate and maybe even reparent ourselves a bit. Today we have a first quarter water trine with Mercury and Saturn, as we’re maturing spiritually (Saturn in Pisces) we need to mature in our reason and our thought processes (Mercury). Trying to find substance rather than material forms, more love and meaning. Adding in Venus square the nodes I think today it could be easy to melt into our feelings, trying to please others to keep our own inner peace, not wanting to disrupt the waters. But I think what we’re really being called to do is set up some boundaries and choose to see the value and benefit of making choices that help us grow, which a lot of times can feel like putting ourselves in uncountable positions, sitting with our own uncomfortable feelings and letting others sit in theirs too without trying to fix them. On this Venus day we are still dealing with Venus square the nodes which could have us, in relation to the SN in Libra, wanting to be cared for, dependent on others for emotional security, needing external approval, people pleasing and codependency. In relation to the NN in Aries, the other extreme could be immature emotional reactions, needing to be heard first and loudest, and just emotionally self absorbed. Yes the NN represents where we make choices that fulfill our soul growth but the SN energy is there to be worked through and resolved. To find balance within a healthy expression of Venus in Cancer we need to focus on emotional self regulation, healthy attachments and emotional independence where we take responsibility and accountability to how we respond to our emotional realities. Venus in Cancer can help us listen to our own subjective emotional realities so we can meet our own needs and come into greater self knowledge.
