The Mars Neptune conjunction coinciding with Venus moving into Taurus could come with sensual or hedonistic escapism but I think with the Moon being in Capricorn it could bring more mature structure of realism. It could feel disappointing and depressing when we hold onto expectations and attachments to outcomes or we can surrender and be in flow and be moved by the pureness of each experience today. It seems like a day to make the mundane magickal.

Mars in his home sign of Aries, rebirth of our desires and our will. Mars is how we act, it’s our ever changing state of becoming. Mars in Aries desires the freedom to act, it follows instinct and its courageous. Especially with his new phase with Neptune, it should feel like quite the energy change. With Mars and Venus both changing signs this week, both being the nodal rulers, it could really feel like a fresh change after the heavy eclipse season. Can we find the bravery and will to meet our own needs today? The Aquarius moon can help give us an objective view of whats going on. Mercury is sandwiched right in-between NN and Chiron, separating from NN and applying to Chiron for the last of three conjunctions. So we’ve had ample time to ruminate about our wounding (Chiron) of courage to act for ourselves (Aries), the fear of making decisions or acting in our self interest. Venus Pluto square echos that, Pluto in Aquarius is the desire for liberation and Venus in Taurus wants to be safe and secure. The first quarter square of course is inner conflict. Maybe today Mercury can help us assess a simple way to find freedom today, could it just be a change in attitude? Change in our inner dialogue?
