In prep for the Jupiter Mars conjunction Wednesday I think the Scorpio moon with Mercury and Venus in Virgo has us searching and investigating our inner depths to purge and purify our goals and our intentions. If we face some loss today or redirection it’s kismet shift away from what we no longer need and whats no longer serving us. For the next week we’re facing important choices and changes so it’m important to confront our psychological limitations to understand where we are getting in our own way and where our fears and insecurities are holding us back from fully participating with our lives and our purposes.

Tuesday 8/13 MARS DAY

Mars in Gemini at 16*

Moon enters Sagittarius at 6:00am EST- sextile Pluto in Aquarius, square Mercury RX in Virgo and trine NN in Aries.

With the Moons shift into Sagittarius I think it’s a beautiful transition as we enter into the Mars Jupiter conjunction which is exact tomorrow. While the moon is in Sag we are emotionally integrating life with a more philosophical focus, more invigorated by life’s adventures. But also we could be stuck in our subjective emotional truths, reluctant to be questioned and quick to try to convert others. Sag really does want personal growth but it needs to be honest with itself and others. Also with the Moon in sag we’re feeling more adaptable, able to roll with life’s punches, see that there is a higher meaning and potential and be able to keep a good sense of humor amidst it all.

Being a Mars day its about being decisive and actively participating with life. With Mars being in balsamic phase for another day with Jupiter it could feel like we’re on the brink of action, Mars in Gemini with Mercury Rx in Virgo our brains could be overworking and overthinking. As opportunities arise for change and redirection we need to focus on where the end goal is make sure our decisions reflect that.

So today is the Mars Jupiter conjunction in Gemini, happening within a degree square to Saturn in Pisces. This combined transit is fundamentally helping our lives restructure in a way that better serves our souls highest alignments, we’re being intuitively guided into new directions. Together Mars and Jupiter can be a overwhelm of mental energy, taking every opportunity, immature reactivity. The square to Saturn is asking us to be more discriminative with how we spend our time and where we are putting our energy, it wants us to focus on what we’re trying to build for ourselves. Saturn reminds us that it takes discipline and focused effort to get where we are trying to go and that rather than being impulsive and reactive we need to hold onto the deeper meaning and purpose and be take more thoughtful, meaningful and discriminative action. Also with Jupiter and Mars there can be loss, so things are being removed from our lives or theres just a heavy emphasis on what isn’t working. This is a week of expansion and loss. We need to employ self leadership and patience to be able to act when the time is right and hold up when it isn’t, its having the maturity and clarity to say yes to whats most important and employ the boundaries to say no to the things that arnt.

The first quarter trine from Sun in Leo to Chiron in Aries is about being aware and conscious of the weight and importance of making decisions, seeing how this power has been abused and finding the confidence to act and make decisions anyway. So theres this fear of participation, fear of making wrong choice that can keep us stuck. But it’s an opportunity to choose ourselves and our souls paths. There could be a fear of being perceived as selfish and self absorbed and maybe some people are acting like that out there but you can ask yourself what is the intent and purpose behind the action and decisions you are personally making, be discriminative and continue from there. While Venus is in Virgo we’re working on improving our relationships to ourselves and others. It can also look like heightened (self)criticism, like we’ll never be good enough, relating to ourselves in a self-defeating way. There could be constant crisis, overwhelmed by the little details or the things out of our control or just the amount of work that needs to be done. Not knowing where to start we fill our time with distractions. Moon in Cap today could also reinforce the depressive, lonely, doubtful energy.

The Mars/Saturn square is crisis of adjustment, very appropriate and congruent with the other energies today. It’s a call to do the work, putting our energy toward the smaller details that will eventually get us where we want to be. It’s a call to self-leadership and participation. It takes work and dedication. Yes we can acknowledge our doubts but we can’t let them stop of from continuing on our journey. The moon in Aquarius is helping us stay objective so we can detach in a way to see the whole story at play rather than getting too emotional emerced. Today we’re seeing our path and our purpose in a more clear light, and maybe it’s not what we had originally planned.
