This morning we could still be in the New Moon mood, planting seeds for creative projects and pursuits, nurturing our lust for life and whatever sets our hearts ablaze. Mercury stationing retrograde has us slowing down to reflect and rethink. Adding in the Moon moving into Virgo I think today there is a call to bring attention to the small details and looking at what needs to be improved and adjusted within our New Moon intentions and everything else we’re working toward. Sometimes with Virgo it’s like there is so much to do you don’t know where to start so you just put it off but theres so much release when you just start the doing, trust the process. Also there could have been this beautiful high with the Leo New Moon and then when she shifts into virgo it could be a real humbling experience, like you have this amazing creative vision and then you realize how much work you’re going to have to put in to bring the vision to fruition. Or maybe it’s like you got 200 new followers and you feel so special and seen and then they start posting critical and defeating comments and you’re wondering if the attention is really worth it. It’s patience and practice and just being adaptable kinda day, trust the process.
Tuesday 8/6 MARS DAY

Moon in Virgo conjunct Mercury Rx and square Mars in Gemini
On this Mars day he is in a balsamic phase conjunction with Jupiter in Gemini, they meet for the new phase conjunction on the 14th. So those two planets are bringing to a culmination whatever was instigated during last conjunction (may 29 2022 at 3* Aries). Mars is our ability to take action, make decisions and participate with life while Jupiter is our beliefs/ philosophies and also our personal truths. This balsamic phase conjunction is about surrendering to the process and just allowing things to develop. With Jupiter it could feel like something is being taken away, but the lesson with that is making room for something better or something more in alignment with that we need now. I feel like the energy of that balsamic phase could have us feeling fed up but also helpless when it comes to misinformation and flat out lies being fed over all the media platforms and just the circus that has been the presidential race and everything else in our lives being touched by this energy. Things could be coming to light, lies and misinformation exposed, maybe just an overwhelm and influx of info, our brains are overloaded and energy is scattered moving from one shiny or interesting thing to the next. Virgo moon could add to the frustration, we just want everything to be planned out and perfect but the Mars/Jupiter balsamic and mercury rx is telling us to be patient and surrender to the process. Stay curious, stay openminded, stay open to other points of view.

Wednesday 8/7 MERCURY DAY

Moon in Virgo opposition Saturn in Pisces and trine Uranus in Taurus
First we have a conjunction of Venus and Mercury in Virgo. As Mercury is now in retrograde motion that means this is their second conjunction. The first was June 17th at 1* of Cancer, ruled by the Moon who happened to be in Virgo that day as well, and the next time they meet will be next April while both bring rx in Pisces. The long game feels like this process of improving our relationship to ourselves (especially our self-image) and others, paying attention to our inner dialogue and the way we speak to ourselves and how we communicate to others, learning so much through self-analysis. If theres a heavy criticism how can we bring in more empathy? If theres denial of an issue how can we bring in self-improvement without overwhelm? If we’re suffering from analysis paralysis how can we make the start?
This Mercury/Venus conjunction coupled with Moon in Virgo could also feel very self-deprecating, where we’re extra hard on ourselves, feeling extra worthless and incompetent. If we’re striving for perfection we’ll always be let down. Theres potential for emotional crisis within all this Virgo energy as well but that ultimately is there to incite self-analysis for increased self-knowledge.
Sun in Leo sextile Jupiter in Gemini is an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and our unique creative purpose and potential, it can bring an optimistic hope to the critical Virgo energy.
All in all I think today holds ample opportunity for self-knowledge in that we could really become aware of exactly what we need to improve on within how we are inwardly and outwardly relating to ourselves and others and dedicate ourself to the task, taking it one step at a time.

The Juno/Neptune opposition feels very fitting after yesterday as it has us continuing on this journey of dedicating ourselves to self-improvement while also holding compassion and empathy for all beings in this human experience and also having faith in the process.
The Moon in Libra on this Jupiter in Gemini days feels chatty, potential for beautiful and expansive conversations/sharing of stories and experiences. Exploring new ways of relating that we were ruminating about yesterday. Again with Mercury rx now, we missed something the first time around so now maybe we’re asking more questions and getting more perspectives, maybe we’re listening more clearly now.

Juno enters Libra
Venus in Virgo wants self-improvement and adjustment, on the surface it seems more like self-criticism and analysis but that is just to hone in on where improvements and adjustments need to be made. As Venus is ruler of South Node in Libra, theres a focus on improvements and adjustments in our relationships to ourselves and others. Today that is emphasized with Moon in Libra and the astroid Juno entering Libra. Juno in Libra is putting a focus on commitment and dedication to all our different kinds of relationships, of course we want to do better for ourselves and those we love.
Venus in Virgo can also have us feeling self-sacrificial, a denial of our personal needs, feeling like we need to atone for something, just feeling unworthy and undeserving. Thats where we need to improve our relationship to ourselves, bringing in that Pisces polarity for unconditional self love and acceptance.
Today would be well spent tending to the details of daily life as well as our inner life. Are you staying busy avoiding the big daunting task? Take it apart and set up smaller realistic goals that will aid in the development. Don’t let fear of failure and self doubt keep you from starting. Its about the process and practice and not perfection.

On this Saturn day we have the Leo Sun inconjunct Saturn in Pisces. The Sun in Leo is us attuning to our creative purpose and Saturn in Pisces is spiritual maturation but also maturing our ideals, expectations and dreams. In this gibbous phase inconjunct there can we a frustration and overwhelms of knowing there is so much to be done but not knowing what to do/how to approach it. This is calling us to just do what we can, surrendering the outcome to just keep plugging along. With the Moon in Libra for most of the day we could be experiencing emotional extremes or maybe it’s just we want some kind of outside validation, approval and reinforcement that we’re doing a good job. But on this Saturn Day we have to take care of ourselves, we need to be realistic without falling into apathy/denial/depression. Sun in Leo can be full of confidence feeling like it can accomplish anything and then when it meets Saturn it meets the bounds and limitations of this existence, leaving us feeling dissilutioned and disappointed but that’s leading us back to finding a more realistic and appropriate course of action. While the Sun is in Leo we could be feeling extra confident, ready to take the world on and take the staring role in our reality. Life is a love affair, being led by the flames of our heart. We could be exploring creative independance, full of optimism and a lust for life. But with the natural house square to Scoprio, the moons current abode, there is emotional crisis when the fears and insecurities bubble up. Mercury Rx and Venus both in Virgo can add self doubt and self criticism that only encourage the fears of the Scorpio Moon. The imposture syndrome could be loud today, esp after the reality check of Saturn yesterday.
Venus in Virgo and Moon in Scoprio we can make it through with some self care. Have some Venus in Virgo self acceptance, no we’re not where we want to be but that doesn’t mean we can give up. Just stay open and willing to self-improvement and adjustment. With the Scorpio Moon we can use the Virgo energy to pay attention to the details of these fears, naming them takes some power back.
