Mars trining Saturn is asking us to employ some emotional maturity and self regulation, with the Moon in Virgo it’s also asking us to be realistic while surrendering to the current of this eclipse portal. The Mercury/Sun conjunction is on the South Node, ruled by Venus in Scorpio, we’re facing some old relationship dynamics with a new awareness, looking for the deeper meaning of it all and especially the part we’ve played in it. Could find ourselves in convo’s with old friends, ruminating about old relationships. With the Virgo Moon today we’re looking at those smaller details to find some psychological self-awareness.

Tuesday 10/1 MARS DAY

Mars in Cancer at 15*

Moon enters Libra at 6:19pm EST

Mars is separating from the trine to Saturn in Pisces that was exact yesterday and will be within orb of a square to the eclipse tomorrow. I think this speaks to a level of awareness of emotional needs that never got met as a child that we may expect from/project onto our partners. So to that, maybe today we need to reparent ourselves a bit. And separating from the trine to Saturn I think we should also employ some empathy and acceptance to our parents, they probably did the best they could and were healing from their own childhood traumas. We should also have some empathy and acceptance in our current relationships, we can’t force other to change to treat us better, we have to meet each other human to human. And within this eclipse portal I want to stress that we find some awareness of the not so cute behavior we might use to try to get our needs met or to feel loved and accepted in relationships.

Wednesday 10/2 MERCURY DAY

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Libra

So we have the South Node, the Moon, the Sun, Mercury and astroid Juno all in Libra being ruled by Venus in Scorpio. Mars in Cancer is within opposition to Astroid Ceres in Capricorn with both of those bodies squaring the eclipse today. As with any new moon, we are starting a new cycle and this one is going to relate to more awareness, harmony and accountability within our relationships. As the New Moon/eclipse is ruled by Venus in Scorpio, she is helping us be psychologically self aware of our shadows, fears, attachments, addictions, codependency, manipulation, etc within our relationships. We can really see the imbalances so that we can work through them to brings more cohesion into all our relationships. This whole year we’ve been challenged to face areas in our lives where we’ve been fawning, compromising and making ourselves small to be loved, accepted, appreciated. It’s time to step into our true selves so that we can enter relationships in a more balanced and authentic way. We can see the patterns more clearly now, and we can ruminate on why we act the way we do and where these fears and insecurities stem from and we can give love and validation to those parts of us. We can accept our faults while trying to do better and accept others for their faults and all as well. What a wild human experience we are all having. May we find love and understanding through acceptance and move forward in a more self-assured and compassionate way.

With the Libra stellium on this Jupiter in Gemini today I think we’re bound to have some expansive and honest conversations. We could be lost in the subjective emotional experience of disappointment and thwarted expectations and then simply talking to another human can remind us of the objectivity of each human experiance. Maybe we’re a little more curious and a little more honest with ourselves about our expectations and maybe they stem from some insecurities or perceived inner lacking. Maybe we see the truth of our manipulative and codependent behavior, maybe we give ourselves the love and validation we’ve been seeking in others.

There’s basically just a big grand water trine with Saturn at 14* Pisces, Venus at 14* Scorpio and Mars at 16* Cancer. Emotional evolution. Mars in Cancer wants to find inner security, Venus in Scorpio wants to delve into her psychological depths and Saturn in Pisces want to mature ideals, expectations and fantasies. If we can be real with ourselves about our inner emotional experiances I think we could find a lot of growth and understanding today. The realistic take is Mars in Cancer wants nothing more than to be nurtured and taken care of, Venus in Scorpio has a very strong fear of intimacy, abandonment and betrayal and Saturn in Pisces is grasping for control like trying to keep water in our hands. If we can see and love and accept where we are in this wild human experience that is a good start, then we can take some accountability and feel our way through this healing process. Looking at just the Venus/Saturn aspect today there’s an inner process of acceptance and trust that we can enter the sphere of our fears/addictions/obsessions without getting lost in them. And also being mature enough to get out of the victim mindset, life experiences happen for us and not to us. Mercury is making rough aspects to this grand water trine today so maybe this all plays out within our relationships today, maybe we go through the emotional extremes so we can face the issues at hand, maybe we finally get the ardent and intense conversations we needed today.

Today the moon sets off the grand water trine I talked about yesterday. Emotions could be high, we’re facing and dealing with manupulations, deceit, fears, shadows, all the scary psychological gunk we all cary around to one extent or another. And it being a Saturn day it’s about finding unconditional love for this exhausting corporeal adventure all us humans are on and also committing to our own healing journey. There’s still lots of energy in Libra right now so how can we show up for healing within our relationships? Can we feel safe enough with our partners to talk about the scary stuff? To be truly seen without fear of judgment or abandonment? Can we experience the full weight of our own crazy in a safe relationship container with ourself or with another? It’s mature emotional conversations with self accountability and grace. We can wish for this storm to pass or we can enter into with trust in the process.

The Mercury/Mars square is a stressful aspect dealing with our thoughts and actions. Mars in Cancer is learning to take care of it’s self and meet it’s own emotional needs and Mercury in Libra is learning about relationships and how to find balance. So the with this square we’re trying not to project all these needs into relationships but enter into cooperative and vulnerable conversations about our needs and their needs and how we can move forward working together. Within this square it can feel like we have no idea what to do but it’s about trying things out while understanding that these crisis’ will only bring us into more self-knowledge and understanding. It being Sun’s day and the Sun is in Libra, our purpose is in relationships. How can we ride these emotional extremes to find balance and temperance?
