The Sun is in a first quarter square with the South Node in Libra and last quarter square with North Node in Aries meaning that we’re real time trying to find new ways creatively actualize how we’re evolving our relationships to become more self-governing, self-initiative and independent while leaning away from past attachments to being co-dependant, needing to be accepted, and being people pleasing ect. It’s about finding the inner authority to choose and act for ourselves rather than doing what we think others want us to do and what energy is repeated by the Venus/Chiron sextile, attuning to the power and will of our own inner vibration. With the Moon in Libra today maybe we flow through some emotional extremes to disrupt the water or maybe we’re able to have some productive conversations where we can meet each other on equal levels and (esp with Venus ruling the Moon from Aquarius) we can really listen objectively.

First we have the second of 3 first quarter squares between Jupiter and Saturn; the first one was August 19 2024 at 17* Gemini/Pisces, the second one is today and the last one will be next June at the first degrees of Cancer/Aries, I say that because then we can come comprehend that these transits are representing a process of evolving through cyclical conflict within our existing nature of beliefs that’s creating a need to refine and adjust our definition of what is true and what is not. Considering how close Mercury is to making this a t-square that adds importance to the energy of Saturn as we’re called to come into greater self-agency and self-authority in our participation with reality and to mature our ideals and expectations, be more pragmatic and discerning as we build our lives. With it being a Mars day and the Sun/Mars aspect, adjusting our purpose or maybe maturation through humbling, seeing reality outside the delusion of our self-involved desires, being more realistic and self-assured as we pursue our desires or analyzing and adjusting our creative passions. Keep putting in the effort and taking the steps and If something isn’t working, try it another way is the basis of all this.

When the moon is in Scorpio we can get a bit deeper, we wanna get to the bottom of the how’s and the why’s of our emotional depths, looking at things about ourselves and life that can be dark and scary. Today is the last of three Mercury opposing Jupiter transits that’s had us on an unmapped journey of evolving our communication, thoughts, truths and beliefs. This energy is also affecting memory, rational and linear thinking. With our brains scattered it’s hard to focus, we’re everywhere and nowhere. There has also been a t-square from these planets to Saturn, which can help focus the energy into practical matters and long term goals but on the flip side it could bring in depression and overwhelm. With the Mercury/Saturn last quarter square it’s about liberating ourselves from our conditioned way of thinking about our reality and what we’re capable of. It’s a crisis transit, the way we have been is no longer working and we need to change it up. Maybe we realize how our thoughts and beliefs have been holding us back or keeping us stuck, maybe we find some inspiration or find where we’ve been being delusional or lying to ourselves. Venus is in a disseminating square to Uranus in Taurus, the energy resounded by Venus being in Uranus’ home of Aquarius. This is a very restless energy, we know we need change but we have no idea how to make it happen and with Venus we’re dealing with our feelings and our relationships. So with all the transits today we could be feeling overall restless and anxious but we need to remember to stay true to ourselves and be realistic with how we’re using our time and energy.

With the Venus/Uranus square we’re restless for change. As Venus is ruler of South Node for just a little bit longer our need to liberate from past attachments is louder. Maybe we just have a more objective view of our feelings and relationships to allow us to see where we need to pivot or maybe we feel immersed in our trauma response and we’re desperate to get out and find freedom and safety in ourselves. The Pluto/Mars opposition is also gaining strength, aiding in our desire to know what we want and our potential and really just ourselves in a deeper way. The Mercury/Jupiter opposition in a t-square to Saturn is also still active; we could be feeling hopeless and depressed within all these transits or we could be dedicated to the process of our unfoldment, realistically and practically plugging away. The Moon is in Sag, may we be honest with ourselves and others and down for the adventure of this human experience.
