On this Moon Day we have the moon entering the watery realm of Pisces early in the morning. The Venus and Chiron opposition has us trying to navigate our need to work through our wounding around taking charge, making decisions, choosing autonomy, being assertive and our attachments to being accepted and approved of. It’s all highlighting the need to integrate this Aries/Libra polarity that’s been a focal point all year, being true to ourselves within our relationships. The Pisces moon today could have us all feeling everything, the overwhelming emoceans. Pisces moon could also help us move through this energy with unconditional love and empathy, cultivating acceptance of where we all while employing the discernment to keep moving forward. All that being said relationship issues of imbalance, inequality and codependency could surface today. Mars in Cancer is making it really easy for us to have emotional reactions to anything that threatens our security and emotional comfort. Any triggers that arise are calling our attention to things that need to be confronted. May we all have grace for ourselves and each other this week.
Tuesday 9/17 MARS DAY

Full Moon Partial Lunar Eclipse at 10:34pm EST
Entering eclipse season is a sacred portal of change and redirection for those of us that have been avoiding it. This one starts with the Partial Lunar Eclipse today and it’s followed by a Solar Eclipse on Oct 2nd. This one is in the Pisces/Virgo axis and separating from a square with Gemini and in close enough conjunction with Neptune. The Nodes are still in the Aries/Libra axis so it’s fundamentally about evolving our relationship attachments to ourselves and others. Within the luminaries we are working on giving to god the things in life we cannot control, finding magic in the mundane, release and surrender. It’s also showing us where we need to come into more self-authority and maturity, especially the expectations we have been holding in our relationships. When we have unconditional love we can come together with opposing views, the maturity is in the accepting others as they are. Balancing being realistic while also working towards our dreams. Surrendering to source while also striving to do better. Holding unconditional love while knowing there’s always room for improvement.
Tying in today being a Mars day I think it’s important to remember that everyone’s emotions are running high and people could be quick to emotional reactions and defensiveness. Again the empathy is an important thing to be cognizant of today and these next few weeks as we are being pulled out of our comfort zones.

Mercury in Virgo has us getting more into an analytical nature, paying attention to the small details of our daily lives, It could have us feeling extra critical with a focus on all our imperfections. Within this opposition to Saturn in Pisces the polarization is surrender and acceptance. Our brain could just go on and analyze everything into the ground but today maybe the realistic approach is to know when to let something go and give it to god and also having empathy for ourselves and realizing that perfection isn’t attainable. Aries Moon with Mars in Cancer is still holding energy of emotional reactivity, we could be lashing out on others today when our expectations don’t get met or we get stuck in this anxiety analysis crisis.

Uranus in Taurus wants to liberate us from our physical attachments and get us the heck out of our comfort zones and Sun in Virgo is about engaging with our purpose of self-improvement so within this first quarter trine today we’re being called to work with the current life challenges. It being a Jupiter Day and Jupiter in Gemini is helping by expanding on what is known, so today we’re exploring new ways to cooperate with the life dynamics on our plate currently. Very much doing the best with what we got kind of energy. The full moon could have left us feeling humbled and discouraged but we just gotta keep plugging along. The Aries moon today can help us take action and have the gumption and courage to participate with life today. Trust in the process and have faith that the universe is conspiring in your favor.

As the Moon moves into Taurus this morning she brings extra Venus energy, craving the security and comfort of our known attachments. Venus in Libra with Moon in Taurus and Mars in Cancer, we all just wanna feel comfy and safe and appreciated and taken care of; we just want to feel good. Then we add the Sun and Neptune opposition which is magnifying this dichotomy between surrendering/letting go of Neptune in Pisces and the mental order and control/need to analyze within Sun in Virgo. The balance is not to just fall into denial and hedonistic physical pleasure to numb out, we do need to still be moving and doing but all while surrendering to the process and not having to control the outcome.

This Mercury/Jupiter square is interesting as they are both Mercury ruled signs (Gemini and Virgo). The energy inherent within this square is a stress/challenge of our linear brain, the known mental workings and associations. It’s a refining process, like make sure you know what you're talking about, but it’s also a humbling energy. Jupiter in Gemini wants to learn about everything and then Mercury in Virgo is like that’s impossible, how about we narrow down our points of research. And it being a Saturn’s Day, it’s a maturation process. You’ve been wanting to learn about something new, maybe it’s a new skill or just general info gathering well today is the day to put your efforts towards it. Today is the planning process; make the list, make the outline, read the book, listen to the lecture, do the research. It could also be the day to have the conversations you’ve been avoiding.

It’s fitting that the Sun ends her humbling experience in Virgo with an aspect to Pluto before entering the relationship sector of Libra this evening. Same with Venus as she moves from Libra to Scorpio also this eve after speaking with Pluto. The Jupiter/Mercury square still active today engaging our thinking and communication. Pluto is reminding us of our conditioned habits and attachments, our shadows. May we find acceptance while forever striving to do better.
